It was clear that the staff took pride in maintaining the cleanliness of the rooms. . the location of the hotel was also a positive aspect. It was conveniently situated just a few minutes away from the train station, making it easy for us to explore the city. the area surrounding the hotel was calm and peaceful, providing a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Another advantage that we enjoyed was the friendly and helpful staff.

The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding - everything smelled great and was spotless. The staff, especially the girl at the front desk and the lady in the cafeteria, were friendly and helpful. The hotel's location was perfect - just a few minutes' walk from the train station and in a calm area with clean air. Trains to the nearby city were frequent and it was great that there were very few people on them.
The breakfast at the hotel was just fair - don't expect too much as it is very cheap. The WiFi was too poor for Skype and the connection was often lost in our room.

I always use Metropol (former "Kris Alcala") when I'm travelling to Andorra on ski vacations (when I'm going and when comming home). It's a very nice 3 star (sup) hotel, much better then some 4 star hotels I have recently been in. The breakfast is kind of short in options but it is still ok for a 3 star. I have been using this hotel for the last 6 years and never had one single complaint. They now have free wifi in the rooms (didnt have on the former "Kris Alcala") which is a nice "plus". Excellent value for money hotel.

Almost everything was great!
Breakfast was a bit poor and there were some problems with wireless connection from inside the room, though no problem while connecting at the hall of the hotel

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the historical center, making it easy to explore the city's attractions. the area surrounding the hotel is peaceful, ensuring a good night's sleep. the rooms are clean and well-presented, with all the necessary amenities. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout the stay. the hotel offers garage parking for a reasonable price, adding convenience.
The breakfast options were somewhat disappointing, with a lackluster bacon and repetitive choices, but still sufficient to keep guests satisfied.

The room was very big and very clean. Although it is situated near the motorway we could not hear the cars. 58 euros, the total price for 3 people - including breakfast.
A cleaner entered the room at 8.10am but quickly realised she had made a mistake. The quality of the buffet breakfast was poor but there was plenty of choice.

I stayed at the Kris Alcala in early June and found it a most enjoyable experience. The hotel is easy to find and there are a good selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is modern and bright, the room was a good size, the bathroom was large. The breakfast was of .a very good quality with hot and cold dishes available. All in all,a very nice experience.
A non-slip mat in the bottom of the bath would dispell any fears of slipping.

I liked the hotel, it was clean, the staff were helpful. Unfortunately it was to far from where our friends live to suit us.

This is the old Hotel Kris. This was not made clear on the web site. The rooms are small and you can get a lot better value for your money elsewhere in Alcalá.

The hotel is a great 3 star. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, good value for money
Location not so central, requires a car to get there, but I was clearly aware of this before booking, so no problem with that.

Nice room. good equipement (air dryer...)
Wifi coverage was not very good . staff spoke hardly English (but the clerk of course), so do not expect any halp from the cook or the waiter if you are on a special diet.... well, who cares, they don't cook in this hotel, there is no restaurant, just a couple a croissants, fruit juice, milk and meat for breakfast
